**MAY CONTAIN INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE FOR CHILDREN**
1) Price, they charge the EU more than the USA, expensive MMORPG.
2) Gameplay. Not much to do other than form massive fleets and wage war (thats fun anyway).
Anyhow, this is not why I am quitting. I have had a massive reality check in the past week, and maybe I can help you turn your life around.
IF YOU PLAY EVE, quit. for the following reasons.
1) If you are a parent, spend time with your kids, stop playing silly games. You will enjoy your time more with your kids and you can teach them things they will need to know in their life. Don't teach them about video games, take them outside, do sports, have some fun. BE A PARENT.
2) If you are a teenager. **** stop this shit! Enjoy life while you're young. Find a girl friend, make lots of real friends... friends on Eve don't count. Go out, have some fun. Do your work properly, and set yourself up in life. Honestly, you only live once and theres plenty of girls out there (or guys) who are right for you. Lets face it, some sex is better than a Titan.
3)) If you are a kid. You shouldn't be reading this!! but try and develop some skills that will make you unique in later life. Stop playing games, being a game mystro means nothing... if not negative things about you. Get some fresh air, have some fun. PARENTS DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS SIT INFRONT OF THE PC.
4) If you are disabled. I know life is tough, I'm not as close to being disabled, but im not exactly at perfect health either. but you can't use this as an excuse to your failure, why you can't have fun. There is no excuse. Pick yourself up. People will love you for your personality, and every living breath counts, so make the most of it.
5) If you aren't disabled, YOU HAVE NO ****ING EXCUSES.
..........
You see the advert to the right? "Eve Chronicles" "Loser". Well, if you keep playing this game, that is what you will be turned into. Some people manage to play this game, and have a life, some of us can't.
We may all have a fresh start. Become that cool person, rather than the geek.
"Better to live one day a lion, than a lifetime as a sheep".
For all those who turn your life around, I salute you. o7.
Bleh, another individual that discovers they may have a video game addiction, quits, and then decides that its not enough and they should get anothers to quit, a proto Jack Thompson is in the making right here. Do us a favor, if you cant handle a type of entertainment then by all means quit but dont attempt to get others to get with you because you got burned. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:
Players who post are like stars, there are bright ones and those who are dim.
